Walking in the door, the pictures on site did not do it justice! This is a beautiful space and bigger than I thought. I can watch the ocean from my patio, cook awesome meals in the kitchen and after we walked along the beach we headed for the hot tub- beautifully taken care of and clean! I will be back again.

This condo was amazing! So much room and everything you need. The place was so beautifully decorated...like a page out of an advertisement. The colors, the style, I love it all....from the cute Surfboard coffee table to the fun touches with the turntable. Everything is clean and fresh. The furniture is comfortable and the beds were comfy, too! You have everything you need for a great family vacation, including chairs, umbrella, boogie boards and even ladder ball. Kathleen & Paul are some of the nicest, gracious hosts. Thank you again for a wonderful stay. We will be back!

We stayed for a week in October and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Everything from booking to check-out was seamless and the property mgmt company was so attentive and lovely to deal with. The unit (A-16) is gorgeous and had everything we needed. We LOVED the full mirrored wall as it made the unit feel so much bigger compared to others in the complex. The decor is modern, clean, and beautiful. The property is fantastic with 2 pools/hot tubs, a gym, sauna, laundry facilities, pool table, etc etc. And to top it off we were steps from the stunning beach! We used the boogie boards and the beach chairs provided for some fun with our daughters. Overall it was a dream vacation and we will definitely be back.

We had a fun time at the beach which was a block away from A-16. It was a perfect spot to stay with our daughter and two young children. The rental unit met our needs. I would recommend changing the fan paddles in the dining room, otherwise all was good.

We loved this property! It is so close to the beach and the property is very adorable. We loved the coffee mugs! We did cook most of our meals and the kitchen was well stocked with dishes and appliances. Clean and inviting!
We utilized the sauna and hot tub. It was so refreshing after being on the boat that day in the cold!

We had a great time, great apartment, great location. We leave the place, clean how they ask, everything is taken care of - and then we get an email that the queen size bed was wet- damaged and they had to replace per our contract. Now I know for a fact that bed was not damaged in any way, and I am to be billed almost $800!!!! Fraud doesn’t win. Then they said that same bed was saturated with pee!!! I am stunned about peeing in my own bed and not knowing about it- very dangerous- I asked for pictures and they sent me a pic of new bed in plastic- what a fraud setup this place is- so sad- I went back and forth with owner how their cleaning crew was not being honest- but the beauty and convenience of this place is not worth the scam at the end- spend a little extra, go somewhere else, I’m sure I’m not the first patsy.

We gathered in Oceanside for my mom's birthday. We stayed in this adorable cottage and were thoroughly impressed with how roomy, comfortable and perfect it was. The ONLY think a little difficult was the stairs for my elderly mom but she loved it, the views and how close it was to the beach. She is looking forward to coming back.

It was a bit hard finding how to check in and where, but after that, things were perfect. Nicely renovated condo equipped with very good kitchen items, nice bathrooms and very near the beach, which was lovely. Good walking beach with places to sit along the way. Complex large but we were on one end. Parking a bit confusing and steps to the condo were quite a few. Overall a good place to stay.

I got this for my parents from AZ - This was such an awesome experience. for them. The location is great with fun places right there at the harbor. The condo is decorated sooo perfect! They have truly thought of everything! There wasn't a thing that was missing! Highly recommend this A+ property!

Wonderful stay!! We had a great time! The location of the property was just perfect for us. Proximity to the beach was key, but we loved that so many great restaurants were within walking distance. The property was very clean and well maintained and well equipped. The communication with the property manager was great. We would definitely look into staying here again!

Our family had a wonderful time at this condo which was immaculate, quiet and next to the beach and pool. The location is close to restaurants, and attractions like Legoland for our kiddos but the beach and pool/hot tub were the main attraction.

Our short trip to Oceanside, CA was outstanding. Our condo was well equipped, comfortable and extremely clean. Just a short two minute walk to the beach, with beach chairs and cooler provided by the condo. There were many great places to eat within a short walk or drive. We would definitely stay here again.

We come every year! We love that they have a queen and a king beds. We love staying at this complex. Management was very helpful and quick to respond when we had difficulty connecting to Wi-Fi.

Best trip in a long while. The unit was as well stocked as a personal home. Everything was supplied, nothing lacking. Just 30 yards from the beach, we will definitely return.

This was our second time staying at Surfside Life and it is truly like our home away from home. Love it! Beautiful decor, views and always hassle free and very clean.

The property is awesome! We enjoyed walking through the plantings on the grounds (lit up at night), feeding the koi in the pond, playing in the pools, and putting green. Being able to walk right onto the beach from the condo was excellent. They provided everything you'd need for a trip to the beach -- towels, chairs, umbrella, cart, cooler and toys! Very thoughtful.

The only things that put a minor damper on our enjoyment was not the fault of the property but folks in the area that like to use the small road next to it to rev their engines and blast loud music at night when our kids were trying to sleep. Wish the city would add a few speed bumps. We also had to deal with a small ant invasion but the staff were excellent about cleaning it up for us.

The condo location and amenities were excellent. But the unit itself was not up to expectations.
1. Shower knobs need to replaced and regulating water temperature is very difficult.
2. Spring on sofa is broken - cannot sit on middle cushion.
3. Carpets need to be cleaned.
4. Better dishes - not just plastic!
5. Glassware should include juice glasses.
6. Too many large plastic utensils but no dinner serving spoons.
7. A dust brush and a good broom would be helpful.

Had a very enjoyable stay in A-16. It is in a great location, within walking distance of the harbor and the pier and downtown. And just steps to the beach. The kitchen is adequately provision, but a couple hundred bucks into new dishes and silverware would go a long way. The carpets in living room and master bedroom are terribly soiled and should be replaced

This location and condo was excellent. We were in walking distance to the beach, the pier, the harbor and the condo is gorgeous. We felt right at home. Can't wait to go back again next year.

Nice clean condo. It is in a safe location and easy access tho the beach. There after several coded gates to enter/exit to move around the facilities. Unfortunately it is a noisy area. There is construction happening most of the time due to condo remodels, exterior upgrades, and train noise at night.

The property manager was above and beyond with anything we could have asked! Great pool and Spa. We brought 3 boys under the age of 13 and was a perfect get away. The DVD player in the main room did not work well, just ended up using the guest room blu-ray player. Ants were pervasive which was the worst part. Nice location to the beach, we could even spend evenings on the balcony. Street was slightly busy at times but didn’t dampen our spirits. Pool and spa were not too busy which made for a nice refresh after the beach.

This unit is so darn cute and comfy. Very clean and great location. It was great having beach chairs and other beach stuff. Our family hated to leave. Can't wait to come back!

We had a great experience from check in to check out. The unit was above expectations and it was great to have an umbrella & chairs for the beach. we had a small issue that the owners took care of with quick dispatch. We will definitely consider renting again if we travel to Oceanside again.

The rental had everything I needed! Chairs, umbrella, cooler, Keurig, and a lovely interior. There were 2 fans that came in handy during the day. I will definitely book this unit again!

This is our third time back in Oceanside staying in the same area...this condo was just as beautifully decorated as the others and definitely had a homey feeling. Location is just off the beach and near the smaller pool, which was ideal for our small children. For the third time in Oceanside, we were not disappointed!

We were extremely happy with the unit we were in! Location is so close to the beach and very convenient to eating and souvenir shopping. We ate at Joe's Crab Shack and were served by Dana. Food and service were awesome! We also ate at Dominic's. The Italian food was delicious! I would absolutely recommend Surfside Life to family and friends! We will definitely be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this unit. The proximity to the shops and restaurants near the harbor and literally having the beach on our front doorstep made this the perfect place to relax after seeing the many sites around Southern California. The unit boasts just about every amenity you can think of as the owners and the property management team have even the smallest details covered. The only thing people should know, however, is that the twin child bed that is advertised is really a small chair that folds into something that isn't big enough to fit anyone but a child 5 years old or younger. With that in mind, if you have a child who is older than that and you are counting on the twin bed as a place to sleep, I would strongly recommend either purchasing or bringing a twin air mattress for your stay (we bought one at the local Walmart for $8.00). All told though, we would stay at this unit again in a heartbeat.

We stayed in this unit for Spring break, and my husband and our two kids had a great time. The unit was nicely decorated, stocked and situated. We had everything that we needed to enjoy our time at the beach and had nice recommendations for local restaurants when we ventured out for dinner. We would definitely recommend staying here to anyone that is looking to stay in the Oceanside area.

*A five star review from an Airbnb guest who stayed December 2018* Beautiful location! And the place itself just totally feels like home. From every little thoughtful detail in the kitchen to the unique beach decor to the variety of amenities in the condo complex.. everything made our vacation just perfect. Kathleen went out of her way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Her recommendation of the bike rental place ended in a wonderful day of bike riding for us. We also enjoyed walks on the beach and watching sunsets. Lighthouse oyster house a short walk away was really good. The neighborhood seemed very pleasant and we are already thinking of coming back soon. Originally our son wanted to come but he couldnt make it, so my mom joined us, and she absolutely loved it. She said she had super restful nights as the ocean air and the comfort of her room made her sleep like a baby. (Usually she has a hard time sleeping in an unfamiliar place). And to top it all off, the weather was perfect the entire time!

My parents and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, relaxing beach vacation in Oceanside. First, the apartment was so stylish and immaculately clean. All of the appliances and amenities were brand new. Kathleen put so much thought into the details of the space, down to providing little cotton swabs for my family and I! The cottage is spacious, it fit myself and my parents perfectly in the two bedroom, two bath. Second, the location was perfect! The cottage was steps from the beach. It's also located in a manicured gated community with a gym, pool, hot tub and putting green - lots to do! Lastly, the hosts are wonderful. Kathleen was so responsive and left us so many directions and recommendations we felt right at home. I cannot say enough positive things about our experience! Highly recommend!
